Robert W. Joseph is a supervising art director working in film, television  and commercials based in Los Angeles, California. He recently wrapped the film Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. Prior to that  he worked on Blindspotting for Starz and The Terminal List for Amazon. Some other films and television he has worked areThe Dark Knight Rises, After Earth and Roman J. Israel, Esq. as well as the TV shows Community for and Castle for CBS.

 

Robert received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design and Space Planning from Ringling College of Art and Design. After working as an Interior Designer for a number of years in Florida he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his desire to work in the film and television industry. 

 

After moving to Los Angeles Robert started working in the industry as a set dresser quickly moving up to lead man and joined Local 44 in 1996. After working as an Art Director on several non-union films he joined The Art Directors Guild in 1998 on the film Thick as Thieves and has continued to work in the industry ever since.
